I've backed everything up there since and it was a much much better experience as a user. So unless you find an amazingly good deal like I did, to experiment with it and see if they've at least improved the service or you have the time and energy to figure it out by any means, I'd say settle for a service that is supported by Hyper Backup, such as Synology C2. I didn't even get to the point of test recovery before giving up. It's unresponsive, buggy, barely has any buttons that react to user input and overall this whole experience was just.weirdly bad. Then their real website is another story. Because of the way it works I think I ended up syncing the same things over and over again but I just couldn't figure out what it was doing and how I was supposed to operate it. However, their Synology app is just simply terrible. The sync went relatively fast, even with encryption. I stumbled upon a great deal somewhere for $5 for 10TB on the first year (sorry can't find the code anymore) and set everything up, installed their app on the NAS and did some test backups. I just tested iDrive recently from a Synology NAS. So, whoever finds this post and this comment.
